Vancouver Farewell Gardens Tour

Say good-bye to Vancovuer on your last day by visiting parks, a beach and a museum without any rush.

Activity Level: low to moderate- the tour includes gentle walks through gardens and a museum and an option for a moderate walk down to Tower Beach (optional).

Tour Itinerary

  • 9:30 AM – Downtown Vancouver Pickup
    Meet your guide and depart from downtown Vancouver.

  • 9:30–10:00 AM – Vancouver, Chinatown & Main Street
    Sightseeing drive through downtown Vancouver and Chinatown before continuing along Main Street.

  • 10:00–11:15 AM – Queen Elizabeth Park
    Explore Vancouver’s highest point and enjoy panoramic views over the city and North Shore Mountains. On rainy days, visit the Bloedel Conservatory (admission included).

  • 11:15–11:35 AM – Drive to Kitsilano

  • 11:35 AM–12:20 PM – Kitsilano Lunch Stop
    Enjoy 45 minutes of free time for lunch.

  • 12:20–12:40 PM – Drive to UBC

  • 12:40–2:40 PM – UBC – Free Time & Your Choice
    Enjoy two hours to explore according to your interests: visit the Museum of Anthropology (admission included), hike the steep trail and stairs down to Tower Beach, explore Nitobe Memorial Garden, or combine different experiences. Couples and friends are welcome to split up and explore independently.

  • 2:40–3:30 PM – Return to Downtown Vancouver

  • 3:30 PM – Tour Ends in Downtown Vancouver

Location: 869 West Cordova Street, Vancouver - Meet at the Plaza between Waterfront & Cordova Streets (across the road from Canada Place, by the white curvy stone benches).

Our guide will arrive about 5 minutes prior to departure in a white van or mini-coach with a "Way Out West" logo.
